I have a 1992 Ford Ranger and there is water coming into the cab on the passenger side, I have read that this may be caused by the "wiper cowling"? fresh air vent? where there are apparently some small holes for draining. However I have no idea how to access this area and would appreciate any guidance on the simplest way to access this area and clean it out so that the small drain holes can become unplugged, I have had this Ford Ranger for approx 25 years and have never cleaned that area. I thank you in anticipation that you can help me. 2 Answers

My 2008 Ford Escape AWD floor matts keep getting soaked. I thought I had fixed it by making sure the sunroof was closed properly, but it has continued. I have tried to figure out where this is coming from and finally after drying them out again I laid under the the vehicle and both on the drivers side in the middle of the front floor area and the passanger side there is a small hole about the size of a dine right in the middle. That would account for the water coming in after rain storms and such, but why would these two holes be there? Was there a drain area there with plugs and they are missing? Can I have a piece of metal welded over them? Don't know why they would be there. Doesn't seem to be a rust issue as it is frim all around these small holes. 7 Answers

I have a 96 Ford ranger, 4 cylinder manual and have a problem I can't figure out. I can start the truck every time with no problem it isles great and I can sit there and rev it all day no problem but if I go to drive it I can make it about 1/2 mile and then that's it, ill press the gas petal and it won't do any thing but kill the gas (no gas) but soon as I take my foot off the gas it will idle just fine and rev fine but won't go anywhere unless I let it sit for a few mins and it will start all over. I have replaced the IAC, TPS and today the external fuel filter that was clogged but same thing. Once in a while if I push the clutch in it will stay at a rev for a sec. Please help 5 Answers
