Question type: General

I was driving my 1999 3.3 Grand Caravan and suddenly it turn off.  I stopped and tried to star it up again but can't be done.  All lights, horn, radios are on and OK.  I used a scanner but didn't bring any clue.  Does anyone knows how to fix this problem?

Being a 5-6 year old car, If the motor does not crank, check the starter motor to see if the short braided cable between the solenoid and the main body of the starter motor has burned through. Using a jumper cable, connect one end to the battery PLUS post and touch the other end to the point where the cable enters the body of the motor. Careful not to touch the body or outer shell of the starter motor as it is NEGATIVE or Ground.
