Please, anyone know where they hide the engine serial number on the cylinder, for 1992, Ford, Taurus GL, wagon, 3.0L, 6 Cyl. vehicle!!Or, do you have a cylinder photo, it shows where they type

The serial number is on a label that you can find on the back of the rear valve cover, front valve cover and on the transmission side of the front cylinder head. It is 9 digits in groups of 3 (xxx-xxx-xxx). These labels are NOT made to withstand the test of time and are often worn down or not even there at all, good luck finding yours.
