Does the computer control the fan/AC blower motor and fuel level sensor?

Asked by Svein Sep 06, 2012 at 12:30 PM about the 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,

I have a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan that has some minor hiccups. Once in a while the cabin blower
motor will just stop working (at all power positions). Or suddenly the fuel meter will slowly go to
empty. The fuel meter will normally go back to normal after stopping and starting the car, while the
fan will often take a day's break before starting to work again. When it is working there are no issues
with it.

A friend of mine thought this had to do with a faulty computer, so my question is if the computer is
connected to these parts? I can see no reason why the computer should be connected to the blower
motor, but I might be wrong. Anybody knows?

Thanks a lot!

Svein

Just curious, did you find out anything on this? This sounds similar to my present problem code p0461, I got this about a month after changing out my blower fan.
