fans turns off when you turn off engine even when hot

Your fan won't run of the car isn't running. Even if the engine is hot

/well, that's not exactly true. on some cars the fan will stay running until the car temp goes below the cut in temp and then it will shut off. usually only takes a minute or two. that said however, it is ok your fan isn't doing that as long as it isn't a symptom of another problem. As long as the car is cooling ok and the heater is working etc. then I wouldn't worry about it.
