the left tail light won't burn. I have replaced the bulb. I replaced the entire assembly still won't work.

The light still won't work  Any suggestions?

Have you checked the circuit with a volt meter to see if there's power there? VOMs are about $10 at Walmart, Harbor Freight or Amazon, probably other places too. Until you establish there's power, there's no way to troubleshoot this.
