just finished putting water pump and cam belt on, car ran fine before, now it starts and idles great but surges to gain rpm, but will not rev higher. recent new fuel pump and fuel filter

Replaced plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor button, fuel pump and changed fuel regulator and checked compression and changed fuel filter. Still "jumping" and missing like you are cutting the key switch on...

Float messed up change plug wires rotor button i think its the needle valve or float messed up any ideas on what it could be
