Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The water pump on an old 1994 Dodge Ram B350 Van/Wagon is leaking.
I need detailed information for a DIY repair.
(Everything relating to the job, even the stupid details)
Video Tutorials and Workshop Manuals would be a big help.

well, I can tell you.. you will need a socket fitting or a crescent wrench fitting to take the bolts out for whatever size they are on the pump, probably 5/8. Once the pump is off, you will lose all remaining coolant, it's a liquid mess. you will need 3 to 4 gallons of coolant to put back in, once the pump is replaced. When the pump comes off, there will be a gasket as well, throw it out and start with a new one. There will be one in the box or you will have to buy one separately. I don't have this car, buy I am sure you will have to take the belts off too, so probably the alternator will have to come off as well.. whatever it takes to get the belts off.. and you might as well buy new belts while you are at it!! Good luck
