How do I remove the whole steering colum on a 2003 GMC envoy.

There may be key transponders in the column that the other computer won't recognize and it won't start , the dealership can probably take care of that though , hopefully things will match up but don't count on it , the newer technology doesn't make life better it makes things more difficult . But keep buying the stuff, all the way to the slaughter house .
