blower motor resistor the problem to fix this issue.

Yes, the blower motor resistor is what you would want to change. Find the blower motor and unplug the wire from it.

I have pulled the fuse and now my SUV is still making a fan noise... But WAY LOUDER. It sounds like something turning (like a fan) but almost like every revolution is lightly knocking against something causing it to be insanely loud. There's no way it could be the blower motor because I have the fuse removed and have no heat/AC. This is coming from somewhere else and the vehicle is turned off. So far it's been running for at least 6 hours and my battery hasn't died so I'm incredibly confused. At the same time the vehicle started the noise, my check engine light AND ABS system light came on. Please help!
