wont run all of a sudden

my daughters car just died yesterday, it will start after you let it set for a while, but only runs for a few seconds, then dies again. Gas seems to be coming out of the mini fuel injector thing....lol sorry dont know much bout cars, just want some ideas of what it could be.

if you talking about the round thing on fuel rale with a rubber connector replace that,sorry cant think of name of part eather,if it is spraying fuel out top that is most likely your problem.

i have a 1997 ford escort lx 2.0 i put a timing belt%2C waterpump%2C coil pack%2C wires%2C spark plugs%2C IAC%2C egr%2C mass air flow sensor%2C o2 sensors%2C and what ever else you need to replace when i have tried all i can think of. The car turns over but wont start and i checked fuel delivery%2C and has fuel. i checked the spark and its not sparking so i put a new coil pack again and still no spark%3F 12 Answers
