periodic hard shifting

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had to replace intake manifold gaskets, did not realize, I broke coolant sensor, on test drive experienced hard shifting.
By chance I thought may the coolant sensor had something to do with the problem.
Installed a new sensor, It ran wonderful !!!!!!!!!!!
But noe it may shift ok for a week, then she will start her hard shifting.
What I have changed so far, radiator, water pump, thermostat, coolant sensor, and the electrical pigtail to the sensor.
To this day i still have this periodic problem.
Any suggestions ???????????????????

It doesn't sound like your problem is related to a sensor. The coolant temp sensor should not directly impact transmission shift quality or shift pattern. I would check your fluid to see if it is burnt-smelling or orange/yellow instead of bright pink/red. It sounds as though the problem is a solenoid or other piece internal to the transmission.
