1990 GMC Sierra C1500

Okay so I have a 1990 GMC Sierra c1500 with a 350 and
the 700r4, I figured its jumped time but I was wrong. So
here I am. Okay so it will run 100% fine in park and neutral,
but as soon as I put it in gear it will just idle for alittle then
die. If I give it gas and like alot of gas it will barely crawl. I
need help I'm just tried of trying with this truck.

No I haven't caused I got it from a u pull place how do I test those sensors and solenoid? Also when I goto put it in gear it won't lock in like it should, it locks the shifter in on park and neutral. I dont know why it is doing this either.
