not leaking, level is full, fluid is real clean almost clear with red tent as i had some tranny work done about 2-3000 miles ago.it was working great down shifting going up hills then up shifting on flats then just went to neutral mode, wasnt hot, made no noise and didnt slip or anything.could it be torque converter?and no not towed left on side of freeway at a mans house.might just call pick & pull & sell to them if i cant fix
no body knows anything? I got 1 answer and it was just more questions. I thought this was a get help site with EXPERTS, boy was I wrong,Instead I get 3 or 4 E-Mails a day asking 65 more questions I NEED ANSWERS NOT QUESTIONS ! I will be deleting this worthless site unless someone proves me wrong. Honest advertizing ?????
well as you just had tranny work done less than 4000 miles ago and from what little you've said you weren't abusing it, I'd say talk to the tranny shop that did the work and let them know that you are having trouble and if they are worth their salt, they will fix it for free as they are the last ones who touched it.

hi, i came looking for answer to your problem. as i went through the same event. i had my transmission rebuilt with all corvette solenoids and blah blah blah less than a year ago and driven less than 1000 miles since. truck was stored for 7 months or soi decided to take truck out.i was driving on highway 50ish mph and suddenely into neutral mode. fluid is full and clean. aaa towed it home. now waiting for trans guy to call me back.
It's probably a sensor for crying out loud!
My 04 chevy just stopped running and it will go into reverse but not forward? Is this a defect from Chevy. Z78.
