driveshaft nightmare

I have been looking for a drive shaft for my
92 sierra regular cab 2wd 4.3 5 speed. I
measire from the tip of the shaft coming out
of the transmission to the middle of the rear
end and came up with 66.5". What size
driveshaft will fit this truck?

Thats where my problem lies at. I was told i needed a 72 inch driveshaft or one that is longer. The problem with this is that im on a tight budget and have no idea what it would on average cost.
