Hello, I have a 1993 GMC Sierra 1500 5.7 v8. only in cool to cold temps the eng. acts like it wants to choke out and die.

After it warms up it runs better but acts up at times.  in the summer or temps 60 degrees or higher it runs great.  I have changed the fuel filter, spark plugs, cap and rotor.  any ideas why this only happens in cooler weather? Thanks Devon
