Are you having a cranking problem like dead battery or starter issue or is it cranking and won't start , if it won't crank at all, ck battery if good ck starter, is the engine old not ran in a while see if the crank turns

"Not cranking" to most of us means the starter motor won't engage, due to a problem with either the charging circuit or ignition circuit - as opposed to "not starting, " meaning the engine can crank but not catch and run. A MAP sensor will not keep an engine from cranking, and usually when first started the engine's computer is in "open loop," meaning it does not rely on any sensor input to run (outside of a certain few), so a MAP sensor wouldn't stop an engine from running either even if it ran roughly. If your engine is not running, it will need some troubleshooting, it either lacks spark or fuel. If it's not cranking, go through all your battery cable connections, check fuses and fusible links, make sure power is reaching the starter, and check the ignition circuit.
