I have a 94 GMC Sierra 1500, 350 engine 5.7 liter... I want to adjust the timing on it is it possible that I can do it manually by myself??? please help!!

yes, you need to find the wire to disconnect that disables the computer timing control. Its a little tan/black wire that should be around the passenger floor board/under dash area. It will have a little conntection in the middle of the wire you disconnect. After that you get a timing light and adjust it by losening the distributor an rotating it. The timing should be set at 0 degrees, there is usually only 2 marks on the timing cover, the bigger one is 0 degrees.
