Asked by Jdub830 Sep 10, 2019 at 01:33 AM about the 1995 GMC Sierra 1500 C1500 SL Extended Cab Stepside SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have 95 gmc 350. Looking forname of sensor between 1
and 3 on driver side. A single wire sensor. I assumed was
ect but that's on top of engine. Ive tried Looking up every
sensor i could think of. Help???

It's on the side of the engine above the manifold. In between therr spark plug 1 and 3. Looks exactly like the ect on the 96 to 03 Chevy. I thought knock as well. But it's not round like a knock sensor. I'll upload photo later. I'm going to go today and work on it. It has an electrical issue at the time and it burnt up the wiring to that. Well it's a coolant sensor. So i guess it has two sensor . Thank you very much fort your time in answering and looking at pic. It was extremely helpful. I just didn't think it would have twosensors for that. Maybe a fail sage if mayone breaks. Idk. Who knows what engineers think when making this stuff. Defuntly isn't the ease of working on cars
