cuttin out and sputtering when i go through water.

ive got a 95 gmc k1500 5.7 truck doeant
sputter or nothing unless i go thru a puddle
or drive in the rain. ive replaced the rotor
thinking it wasnt sealed right. im miasing
part of my splash guard on the inside of my
fenderwell,  what would be gettin wet to
make it cut out n backfire? looses power trys
todie then itll rev up high and a reapeat
process. any advice would help. thankyou

Anything electrical does not like water,Spark plugs,spark plug wires.distributor cap.
