The 4L60E transmission needs some inputs from the factory computer to operate. I leave the computer in the truck and just disconnect what is not needed for the fuel injection system. This way the trans gets power and ground, coolant temperature and vehicle speed. You will need to give the computer tach signal from your distributor. find the correct tach signal wire in the connector that went to the old F.I. distributor and connect it to the tach terminal on the distributor you are now using. The last part is a bit trickier. You need a throttle position sensor. Holley sells a kit for their carbs for about 130 bucks. But you can make an adapter for your carb if you are handy.
