any suggestions on how to get a door open on a gmc sierra extended cab?

i replaced the inside drivers handle and all worked fine. i could open from the outside or
inside. once i locked the door, i could not get it open again from the inside or outside.  I
think the lock jammed....any ideas on how to get it unstuck?

hi my name is luis i've come across this problem on many cars,what i do is if it can be done is remove the trim on the outside of the outside of the door (that's the one that keeps the water out) if that cant be done then stick a wedge in there so u can hold this open.here"s the tricky part i use to do this by feel but now i use a camera like the s.w.a.t. teams use and with a long rode about 1/8 in diameter i locate the door lack and push down and the door will open no matter what the problem is,it has not failed me yet one of these days ill make a video
