1998 Gmc seirra 1500 starts sometimes.

My 1998 GMC has been running fine for months. yesterday I parked it for maybe 2 minutes and went to start it again and nothing. It didn't even turn over. the lights the horn and the radio all work fine. I can also here the fuel pump going. we tried jump starting it thinking it was the battery and nothing. I went back today and turned the key and it started. I turned it off for a few minutes then it wouldt start. I don't know whats wrong. I was able to start it again. But the truck starts and then wont start then start again.

Check the starter. Have had the same problem the new stater has always fixed that for me.
