Engine swap

I have a 1998 GMC Sierra SLE that has a
5.0 305 vortec. Can I swap that out with a
350 vortec without having to really change
anything else just drop it in and go???

The only thing u will have to change is the ecm and engine harness. The only good thing about chevys is that u can put a 350 sbc in place of any small block from the 4.3 l v6 to the 400sbc v8 with. Almost no modifications (unless u were swaping out a 4.3 from an s10 to a 350sbc) so with this info overload make sure u get the ecm u may not need to swap the harness now that i think about it hower i would just in case it will save an unneeded head ache down the road
