so i have a 98 gmc sierra 1500 with a 5.7 and i have no spark when i got it it wouldnt start and i replaced the distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and wires and fuel filter still wouldnt start. hooked my battery charger to it put it on 80 amp and it fired right up after that it started till the next day it wouldnt start put the charger on it and it started. after that it was the only way it would start when it was cooled down. then i parked it went out a couple days later and tried to start it with and without the charger and wouldnt start checked spark and didnt have any so i replaced the crank sensor, cam sensor, and coil. still no luck tested the icm and its good. pulled steering column apart and tried to hot wire it and nothing. also i have blown ecm1 fuse twice and my fuel pump works without the relay in it please help

Have you tried replacing the igintion module in the distributor?

its not in the distributor its on a bracket on the coil and i tested it and its fine thats what ment when i said i tested the icm
