drain radiator

can' t    get to the drain valve ,   no space to use a tool  
i can see it   but,   cant even touch it,
any ideas ??

I just had a radiator drain valve that would not drain. Leaving the radiator cap on, I slowly pulled the lower radiator hose from the radiator. I didn't get an anti freeze bath because the liquid flow was limited by the lack of venting. Actually the cap will vent a little, so you may want to cork up the radiator inlet to restrict the flow into a catch bucket.
