what is the correct torque for starter bolts on

a search can give you the answer , I figure the most I can get with a standard ratchet is about 35'lbs. , with a cheater bar maybe 40 and that should be good ,, some fords have them on there at more than that , generally I torque a bolt with what it took to get it off
