Fuel won't continue to pump after truck runs

Fuel pump pulls enough fuel to the motor to Crank It up.
But will not continue to pump fuel to keep motor running.
I've been told that with the key on hold the nozzle on the
side of the fuel rail in where you measure the pressure.
Lester's gas squirt but it has to continuously squirt because
there's no pressure build-up. It's only building up the
pressure and not providing additional fuel when the
pressure is released.

You pretty much know it's fuel pressure , one circuit primes the system and once it starts another takes over .maybe there's two relays ? Is there power and ground at the fuel pump after it starts ? Some vehicles are particular about fuel pressure , just having it won't do so that's something to check

You fuel pressure should run about 50 to 55 psi. On the rail in a full size Chevrolet. If it drops past that, then it won't start. If you have 0 psi pressure at the rail, open up your air cleaner cover, exposing the circular mesh and spray starting fluid in there. Jump in the driver seat and turn the key, crank it over, if it starts and cuts out then you know it is a fuel problem.

By the way, stay away from Spectra fuel pumps made in China. I don't trust that brand. I don't like their quality.

Secret Hint: In your schematics, your oil pressure switch may be tied in with the operation of your fuel pump as an alternate route to the fuel pump module. Replace this switch in the back of motor. 27mm. Deep well socket. Good luck.
