Hard start, idle, boggs out

Hello,  I have a 2000 gmc sierra 1500, this morning
the truck started up just fine,  later I got it and
attempted to start it and it tried but shut off,  I
attempted again and it started while I have it some
gas but once I let go of the throttle the RPM went
real low and acted like it was going to shut off.  I
gave it some more and once it stabilized it was just
fine.  It's hard to start and keeps doing the same
thing now when trying to start it.  Any suggestions?

I would start by doing a fuel pressure bleed down test. Possible leaking spider injection assembly, or fuel pump.
