problem shooting
I have a 2000 gmc Sierra it had the service
engine light on I hooked a code reader too it.
It said it knock sensor bank two then the
light went off. Drove great for a week then
was going to work and it just started dying
on me. Would pull over and try to hit the
grass but and would get nothing. Then I
would start again and it would be fine for
about 3 miles then do it again. Thought it
might be fuel filter changed it, it was dirty
but and still wouldn't start with new one so
hooked cables up let charge and cranked
right up. Drove good for the rest of the day
then got up to go to work and wouldn't start
again. Battery shows it has full charge. I
checked all the fuses cleaned them cleaned
my negative post also. Friends thinks it
maybe a sensor shutting my pcm off and
shutting off my fuel pump! Anyone else have
any tips or idea on what it could be?
