Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 gmc sierra 1500 and sometimes when i start it it runs fine and then it while driving it will just start misfiring and stall out so bad it dies or wont pull at all. i have changed coil packs and plugs to new the only thing that comes up on the reading at part store is o2 sensors and abs sensors and soemone else told me it may be the cadillac convertor stopped up. does anyone else have this problem and know what i should do to fix it.

Have a compression test done. Could be a broken valve spring. Had the same thing happen to my 07 sierra and after spending hundreds of dollars, ended up being a 5 dollar part.
