No, Manual Air-conditioning means it's not "Dual Zoned" or "automatic temperature" ... which means, you don't set the temp to 70 degrees and the system shuts off --- you set to cooler or warmer, and manual adjust it when it feels "right".
The dealer listing on my truck states Air Conditioning: Manual Does this mean air conditioning or ventilation?

hi. my 2014 gmc sierra air conditioning was blowing cold air and suddenly went "pop" and started blowing hot air. no leaks and it works but blows hot air . any ideas on whats wrong?
