Can I convert my Xenon lights on my A4 to standard headlights? Or can I put new lenses on the existing housing?

Asked by keanester Nov 13, 2014 at 04:39 PM about the 2004 Audi A4 3.0 quattro Cabriolet AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro and the headlight lenses are so fogged over that the
low beams are useless. I've done the polish kit thing to no avail. And most of the fogging is
on the inside of the lens anyway. New bulbs for this car are $280 each and that doesn't
include any lamp housing or lenses. Thats just for the bulbs. Which my mechanic said
won't really help the problem. Is it possible to switch to a standard bulb and lens set or is it
possible to get new lenses for the lights I have now. All the bulbs still work.
Thanks,
Phil Keane

My headlights were perfectly fine on my 2004 a4, but i bought brand new fiber optic style headlights for about $300. Now it looks exactly like the 2014 version of the car and i love it. Could this be an option for you?
