2004 audi a4 1.8

I found a 2004 audi a4 1.8, and its about 1000
dollars. Not much, it has 150k miles and supposely
just the oil pump is bad. Looks nice from the
outside. Im just struggling on weather or not i
should buy it. Ive heard those cars be having a lot
of problems regarding th oil. HELP. Pls

If the oil pump is bad then the engine is probably seized or badly damaged.

Well the guy said he stopped driving it. Im not sure if he a mechanic and dont want to be fooled. What do you think i should do? Just forget about it?
