This is not particulary high especially if the majority of this mileage is Motorway (Highway) mileage. As long as there is a comprehensive service history on this vehicle, all should be well. If you are considering buying this vehicle perhaps you could get a mechanic to 'look it over', if it is a car that you already own and are considering changing, there would appear to be plenty of life in the old girl yet! P.s I currently drive a '95 BMW with 160,000 on the clock, and still going strong.
The answer in a nut shell is maybe, maybe not?It all depends on the maintenance records.I personally owned a 1990 Audi 90 Quattro that got traded in with 339.000 miles on the clock, the clutch was just starting to go(original)so if you take care of them no that's not a lot of miles. You have to remember one thing, the cost of running an automobile in Europe is far higher over there than here in the U.S.of A.So the cars are designed to run for thousands of miles, with proper maintenance, something that is lost on our disposable society.
