how much are extras on a car worth when buying a car from a dealer

Asked by Brigit May 03, 2012 at 04:34 PM about the 2004 Audi A4 3.0 quattro Sedan AWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

How much can a dealer price up a car for the followign features: overdrive, power passenger seat, cliamate control, reclining seat, power third seat, premium radio, privacy glass, clearcoat paint & metallic paint. My car was totalled and their comps do not account for all these additional features. How much does mileage affect a car value? If my car has 10K less miles what amount of money can i add to the price?

those options do not add any book value to the car because most of that would have been standard- 10k miles typically adds about $1000 to the value. I hope this helps.

Um, I dont want to be the only one to say it, but dealers suck! Stay far away...they're wolves and will nickel and dime the shit out of you. Find a guy selling used with under 10k miles and you'll save 20% & the headaches...
