Does anyone know about how to remove the cabin
air filter under the dash on passenger side around
HVAC/blower/AC? Also the correct part number of
a replacement filter?

Look behind glove box. If you drop glovebox down, in the back right corner is this sponge-like filter that I would think is a cabin air. If not, I don't know what else it could be and it just doesn't make sense that every year model/type of Sierra has one except the 2005 2500hd. I really wish someone had experienced and resolved already and could lend their experience. My truck is all torn apart and would prefer to replace filter with it apart rather than having to take it all back apart. HELP!!!
I don't see a cabin filter listed in any of the stores I use. May just want to clean the sponge we are looking at in the picture.
