What type of gas does my Audi TT 03 take? It says unleaded only. I don't understand. Does that mean the cheapest car fuel or does it really matter which kind of fuel I use.

Is this really a serious question? You're kidding right? There hasn't been leaded fuel since the 1975. What you're asking is probably the octane level, 87, 89 or 91. Check your owner's manual, you likely need 91 octane. See link on fuel http://askville.amazon.com/year-production-sale-leaded-gasoline-stop- purpose-lead/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=19127725
Early modal VW's and Audi's take High Octane gas only. Find the highest number octane gas(petro Canada Has the best in canada) and use that only. If you use lower octane gas you will run the risk of fouling your plugs and cloging the system with carbon deposits.

91 unless you get upgrades like bigger turbo or remapped ecu. Then I would go with 93
Hello guys i own an audi tt modle 2000 and here in middle east we have only 92/95/98 octane, can i use 92 fuel and add some octane to my tank?
92 should be perfectly alright we normaly have 93 octane here for high tes and its what we have recomended
If I put 85 octane in and let it sit for a while is that ok
