You may gain a couple more horsepower, but if you live in a state that makes you pass a smog test, you will fail. Then you will have to spend big bucks to by another. Unless you keep it and just weld in a straight pipe. Not sure but if you have an O2 sensor on the downstream side of the cat, that may cause your check engine light to come on which is a no pass for a smog test also.

more cons then pros in my opinion.unless you want to put the stock exhaust each time you need to pass smog.
