Can you put a rebuilt transmission in an Autdi 2002 3.0 Quattro Sedan?

Asked by marguerite Sep 22, 2012 at 11:33 AM about the 2002 Audi A4 3.0 quattro AWD

Question type: General

I had this done at Aamco Canago Park.  Now the car will not run.  It will not even turn over.  Auto Gallery said they saved their butts by resetting the computers.  That a rebuilt transmission can not be put into this car.  Aamco Canago Parks accepts no respnsibility.  They charged me $3,800 and l have a car that will not run.

aamco is your problem. my bet is that they shorted it out somewhere and fried your ecu and/or ignition switch. even with no ecu, and no engine wiring a car will still turn over as long as the engine isnt seized and its not shorted
