Audi A6 would start

Just bought a adui Quattro said it was a bad
starter when I put the key in to start it it
doesn't start the motor doesn't make a noise  
like its trying to start or turn over but their is
power in the car the dash lights turn on but
when fully turning the key their is nothing

So . . your Audi is 15 years old, your gonna have to put a lil money into it to tune it up !! Replace the starter, spark plugs, wires, distributer cap & rotor !! Start with these inexpensive items and go from there !!

A tuneup will not make an engine turn over. It might be a bad starter or a weak battery. Start by cleaning and tightening the battery connections. You may also want to test the battery, starter and alternator.

Once you have replaced these items, test your alternator with a volt meter, clean & tighten your battery connections, or consider replacing your battery! All these things should be done when buying a used car.
