key fobs go dead quick ( there is nothing to charge the battery in them). Batteries plus works well as I have used them a few times for my fob. plan b, you have to adjust your transmitter or replace it. The fob doesn't do the dirty work, it reads a signal ( transmitter) which does the dirty work, etc.

I replaced the battery in the key fob still nothing the transmitter where is that and how would I go about adjusting it?

sounds like your comfort control module may not be working...it controls a number of things inside lights alarm, trunk release fuel cap release locks alarm, motor for the top also making the key fob not to work as well
