You can't. Engine has to be lowered out bottom of cradle once sub-frame is dropped. Then turbo's can be removed off of engine assembly
you cant, theres not enough room two ways to do it, remove the engine by dropping the subframe or hoisting the engine
There is definitely no way. If you wanna have an easy turbo swap, buy an A4.
I'm hoping you're replacing the turbos...Who would want to remove the turbos completely?
It can be done. I have done it with a friend of mine. We swapped his KO3's for K04's with the engine in. It is really tough to get the oil lines and you have a lot of parts to remove but it can be done.
It is possible but not fun by any means. The so called "Body Shop" method. Take off front carrier with all radiation. Disconnect catback etc, Remove turbos with manifolds still attached via front of car. Good luck, you might as well just drop the whole power train, motor, tranny, front axles all in one and be done the "easier" way.
A shop in my hometown did it by dropping the subframe. I took a few rigged tools and a lot of strength, but it can be done. You definatley need a lift to do it though.
Its way faster to simply pull the motor. getting it back together and properly attaching the coolant lines, oil lines, and wastegate lines with the motor in would be really hard
