1993 del sol no start an you help

after a rain the car would not start, the check engine light does not go off and
the fuel pump does not prime just cranks, the next day I turn the key 30 to 40
seconds later light goes out and car starts. I removed the main relay checked
all 3 legs good, i am stumped, the fuel pump only primes when the light goes
out

no obd connector on this car, (has the 2 connectors in the green case) weather is sunny now the problem went away, this all started after a hard rain overnight, going to park in garage overnight and see how it goes.thank you for your help. Joe

You can still retrieve obd1 codes, it's very simple. Chances are your ignition coil and or ignition control module (igniter) are sucking in moisture from the air and is causing a no spark condition. Even on extremely humid days without rain you may find it hard to start

I will put a new ignition coil in and let you know what happens

im having the same problem. Car was running fine. Parked came out a little wile later then boom nothing. Has power though.
