I looking at an Audi a4 1.8 Turbo 5-Speed, with about 174,000 miles on it? The seller want 3000 for it, do think it's worth it?

The timing belt has been replaced recently, but i missed typed the price, he wants $3500, I blue booked it for much less, what do you think is a good price for this car?

why is he asking higher than bb? if it's in perfect condition 3500 wouldn't be horrible. but it would have to be very perfect. you're gonna have to sink a bit of money in it before you know it's going to last. like $500 for control arms and you might want to change out the struts and springs. At 174 the motor is fine but that other stuff is starting to wear. the leather probably isn't perfect, the ride is probably pretty floaty by now... try to talk them down a little.
