2004 Hyundai Santa Fe TCS light coming on, "shifts to neutral"

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 2WD Santa Fe has a problem with the traction
control system. The TCR light comes on at about 40 mph
and stays on. The car essentially goes into neutral and the
speed dips. Once I manually press the TCR button to turn
it off, the car goes back to normal. I've replaced the wheel
sensors on the two front wheels but the problem is still
happening. Does anyone know what's causing this or how
I can fix it? No maintenance codes were found.
