Jeep Grand Cherokee Crank but no start

Asked by Mckevicon Jan 12, 2016 at 04:23 PM about the 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I let my battery die yesterday by leaving my lights on for several hours. When I
tried to jump start, the engine would crank but refused to fire up. I have never
had any issues with starting my jeep since i bought it (roughly 7 months ago)
and this is the first time the battery has died. I checked the schrader valve for
the fuel line and it is getting fuel. I am really stumped.

IF you are sure you have fuel, check for spark. also scan the computer for codes.
