I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. Now my ignition switch is messed up and I have to use a screw driver to start car. -battery is not staying charged. alternator and battery tested good.
I was told my battery is to small could that be the problem?

Bought a 2004 jeep grand cherokee with 109,000 miles on it. Everything worked and ran great on test drive. After driving it 3 times over a week the battery died. It was a newer battery and checked out fine. Put a new alternator in still would not always start. Put a new starter in ran for two day and now will not start again. Short somewhere?
