Changed the drivers door on my 97 Jeep Laredo but didn't change the door lock. Unlocked it with the key from the passenger side and the alarm went off it wont shut off. The car wont stay running when starting. HELP
Door switch should not have anything to do with alarm not turning off, check to see if u accidentally disconnected some wires. If everything looks ok, disconnect car battery for a minute ad see if it'll reset alarm
I have done that. The BCM has been replaced before & it is doing the same as it did before the previous owner replaced it 2 years ago. Not sure what would cause a BCM to go bad in 2 years time.
