I have a Jeep Cherokee limited 1997 with a
automatic starter installed,not from the same
company,now the key pad is broken and they said
it would  take two weeks to get another one,but my
question is my car died but will start with a jump
but when I turn it off,it had to be jumped again to
start,what do you think the problem is

Check voltage on battery, should read minimum 12.4vdc. If battery is good, check battery cables for corrosion and make sure they're tight. If everything checks out ok, charge battery or get a jump and drive to autoparts to get charging system checked out. Might have a bad alternator
